Give the people you serve a plan for the day a scam call comes.

Each household builds a large-type, printed playbook with the right phone numbers and the steps to take when something seems wrong. You send the codes. Your name is on every page.

We never see their answersEach playbook is built on the person's own device.

Most break-ins start with a person, often at home

People are involved in about 6 in 10 breaches: a click, a phone call, a reused password. Your staff, members and volunteers carry those habits from the kitchen table to your systems.

Home is part of your network

People check work email, reuse passwords and log in to your systems from home computers and phones you don't manage. Nearly half of infected computers holding work logins were personal, unmanaged devices.

It has happened before

Some of the largest health insurer breaches of the 2010s didn't start with a hole in the firewall. They started with people: a convincing email, a stolen login, a computer outside the office.

A plan at home protects you at work

Someone who knows to stop, hang up and call back on a number they trust brings that habit to work. A playbook gives every household that habit, with your name on it.

Sources: Verizon 2026 Data Breach Investigations Report (people involved in 62% of breaches); Verizon 2025 Data Breach Investigations Report (46% of infected systems with work logins were unmanaged).

What each person gets

Not a generic handout: each person gets a playbook built around their own household, the same one families buy for $39, at no cost to them.

The emergency page

Five steps to take, in order, when something seems wrong. First: stop, and don't send money or codes.

The real phone numbers

Their bank, cards, cell phone company and doctors, copied from their own cards and bills, plus where to report fraud in their state.

A page for the family helper

What the person they call first should do, and what not to do, when the phone rings.

How to spot a scam

The tricks that work on careful people: urgency, secrecy, gift cards and "your account is locked".

How it works

  1. Sign upPay by card and your organization page opens at once, or ask for an invoice or purchase order.
  2. Add your detailsYour name, phone, website and logo. They appear on the page people use and on each email.
  3. Send the codesPaste or upload a list and we email each person a code from "your name via Family Security Playbook". Or download codes as a spreadsheet for your own letters, newsletters or events.
  4. They build and print itAbout 20 minutes each. You see how many codes were sent and used.

Printed copies, mailed to their door

Connect your organization's own Lulu print account, and every member can have their personalized playbook printed and mailed to their home with one click.

A booklet they'll keep

US Letter, full color, stapled, on heavy coated paper, with "Prepared for" and their name on the cover. Large type, made to sit by the computer.

Billed to you by Lulu

About $15 a copy by standard mail, or about $24 with tracked Priority Mail. Members pay nothing, and we never see your payment details.

Set up in 15 minutes

Paste your Lulu keys on your organization page and try it in Lulu's test mode first. Switch member printing on or off any time. Read the setup guide.

One printed copy per member code. Lulu receives the member's pages and mailing address only when they choose to send it for printing. Prices are Lulu's, quoted October 2026 for a 16-page booklet, and vary with page count and address.

What we hold

Your organization's contact and billing details, the access codes, and counts of how many were sent and used.

What we never hold

Anything a person types into their playbook. Member or resident records. The email addresses you send codes to: we use them to send, then don't keep them.

Questions

Who can we give codes to?

Your own members, residents, customers or employees. Each code makes one playbook for one named person. When you email codes, you confirm these are people who expect to hear from you.

What does the email look like?

It comes from "your name via Family Security Playbook", with your short note if you add one, and replies go to you. It explains the playbook, gives the code, and tells people they can type the address themselves rather than clicking a link.

How long do codes last?

A code can be used for a year after you create it. Once used, the person has 30 days to build, correct and print their playbook, and the PDF is theirs to keep.

Do you see our members' information?

No. Playbooks are built in each person's own browser. One is sent only if that person asks for a printed copy; it goes to the printer and the stored file is deleted within 14 days. The email addresses you paste or upload are used only to send the codes and are not kept.

Can we add our own fraud line or resources to the playbook?

Your name, phone number and website appear on the page people use and on every email. Putting your own numbers and resources inside each playbook is part of a larger integration plan: ask us.

Can our members get a printed copy?

Yes. Connect your own Lulu print account on your organization page and each member can send their finished playbook to be printed as a large-print, stapled booklet and mailed to their home. Lulu bills your account directly, about $8.50 a copy plus postage, and you choose standard mail or Priority Mail with tracking. You can try it in Lulu's test mode first. The setup guide walks through it step by step.

How do the monthly plans work?

Each paid month adds 10, 20 or 30 playbooks to your organization page. Anything you don't use carries over and stays available for 12 months from the month it was added; the oldest are used first. If you cancel, there's no new month, and you have 90 days to use what's left. Codes you've already handed out keep working through those 90 days.

What's the scam-call workshop kit?

A 45-minute session plan you can run in a fellowship hall, a break room or a community center: a short talk on how scams work, members practicing real scam calls in pairs, and a one-page handout with your name and phone on it. It's on your organization page with every community and monthly plan.

Can we try it before we commit?

Yes. The try-it-out plan is $99, paid once, for 5 playbooks you can give out over a year. It doesn't renew. If it works for you, the "Ready for more?" box on your organization page moves you to a yearly plan and keeps your page and details.

Can we change plans?

Yes. If you need more people partway through the year, email us and we'll move you to a larger plan. Need more than 1,000? We'll set up a plan for your size.

Can we cancel?

Yes, any time before your renewal date, and you won't be charged again. Unused codes stop working when the plan ends; playbooks people already downloaded are theirs to keep.

Can someone buy one for their own family?

Yes. Families can buy a playbook themselves at familysecurityplaybook.com, from $39.

Is there a plan for our own office?

Yes: the Small Office Security Playbook, $149 once, is a printed incident plan for the people who run your organization.
